Welcome to Newcastle International Hockey Centre (NIHC). We are here as the result of strong determination and hard work by our associations and members.

NIHC has three internationally FIH accredited water based fields which are the result of a lot of hard work and determination from our hockey fraternity.

NIHC aims:

• To provide the best possible field hockey facilities for Newcastle and hockey players in general.
• To showcase facilities that Newcastle players have funded.
• To host state national and international hockey matches

The centre is open seven days a week during winter competitions and six days a week during summer competitions. NIHC has hosted state, national championships and international matches since its inception and have championships booked in the future.

Our facilities are also used by soccer, rugby league and AFL teams as a wet weather training facility.
